Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Coast
A chopper soaring above a popular coastal shoreline unexpectedly started spinning uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a row of palm fronds as beachgoers observed.
Videos uploaded on social media depict the aircraft commencing to spiral over the shoreline then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.

Local firefighters reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Details on their wounds were not immediately available.
