The UK airline to provide free quick onboard wifi by way of satellite partnership
Travelers flying with British Airways are set to enjoy fast wifi onboard at no cost due to a major partnership involving Elon Musk's space firm.
No-cost plus High-speed Internet Across the Board
British Airways announced that the complimentary, “quick and reliable” internet service through the satellite provider will be available to travelers flying economy, premium economy, or premium cabins starting soon.
Widespread Deployment Throughout Several Carriers
The parent firm of BA, the airline group, stated it had secured an agreement with the satellite firm to offer connectivity services across more than 500 planes within their operators, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.
Smooth Connectivity starting at Boarding through Landing
British Airways stated that the rollout of this service formed part of a multi-billion pound “upgrade” plan and would offer uninterrupted wifi coverage to travelers starting at boarding through landing, including when traveling over large bodies of water and isolated areas.
Passengers can connect multiple devices and won't need to need a special access code.

Current Internet Services
Restricted internet access remains provided to BA travelers across nearly all of the airline's aircraft using the .air service.
Enrollees of the airline's frequent flyer program can send communications plus text-based emails during flights free of charge, while passengers wishing to stream audio, movies, and movies on their travel if not flying in premium cabins might pay between four pounds ninety-nine and £21.99 per wifi bundle.
