Vinicius Jr Offers Apology to The Madrid Club Supporters
The forward has netted 5 goals in ten La Liga matches so far this term.
Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to supporters for his conduct when substituted in the recent intense El Clasico victory.
Vinicius was taken off in the 72nd min and showed his annoyance by heading directly down the tunnel.
He eventually reappeared to the dugout and, after his team's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's youngster Yamal during unsavoury after the game scenes.
"Today I want to apologise to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was taken off in the derby," he posted on social media.
"Just as I have said in person during this morning's practice, I would like to say sorry once more to my team-mates, the club, and the leadership.
"Occasionally emotion takes over me because I continuously aim to triumph and support my team. My competitive character comes from the love I have for this club and each thing it symbolizes."
The player signed for Madrid from Brazil in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has notched triple figures in 335 appearances.
But his career in the Madrid is unclear with reports in lately stating that Los Blancos would think about letting the player leave if they obtained a appropriate bid.
When Vinicius was taken off on Sunday, TV coverage from network the service picked him up saying: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I go, I'm moving on."
In his most recent message on X, he commented: "I vow to keep fighting every second for the good of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
